Defy Expectations

Versatility is a standard characteristic of the Maverick, demonstrated by its FLEXBED™, a 4.5-foot truck bed with a multi-position tailgate that extends the load floor to six feet and can be easily turned into your work surface. Dividers can be created with 2x4s to secure loads and offer more organization possibilities. Standard tie-downs are also included, but if you need more, ten tie-downs are an available option. Need to charge your phone or power a cooler? An available in-bed outlet makes it easy. And, thanks to two 12-volt wires, you can power small appliances like a mini fridge.

The Maverick may be compact, but it can still seat up to five people while offering plenty of storage space. A roomy compartment under the rear seat offers generous space for various belongings, and door-pocket storage keeps your water bottle within easy (and secure) reach. One of the things we love about the cabin is that the seat fabric and flooring are made from recycled clothing. You'll also have the option of adding a little touch of luxury to your drive with available features like a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Desert Brown ActiveX™ seats, ambient lighting and dual-zone electronic automatic temperature controls that come with the LARIAT trim.

You can take all the technology you need along for the ride. The Maverick includes standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ and an 8-inch touchscreen that makes it easy to stay connected to your phone on the go, while the available SYNC® 3 system allows you to use your voice so you can stay focused on the road. The Maverick includes a standard six-speaker system, but you'll also have the option of upgrading to the eight-speaker B&O® Sound System by Bang & Olufsen®, which is available on the LARIAT trim. And rest easy — Ford Co-Pilot360™ Technology helps keep you safe with features like auto high-beam headlamps and Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking.

When it comes to performance, the Maverick doesn't disappoint. It offers a standard 2.5-liter full hybrid engine and CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) and impresses with a targeted EPA-estimated 40 mpg city.1 The standard payload capacity is 1,500 pounds,2 and the base towing capacity is 2,000 pounds. If you need more power, the available 2.0-liter EcoBoost® engine brings 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque 3 to your drive and allows you to tow up to 4,000 pounds with the 4K Tow Package.4 Seeking more adventure? Add the available FX4 Off-Road Package, which includes all-terrain tires and five drive modes for confidence on a variety of surfaces.
