Benefits of Choosing Electrified Vehicles

Benefits of choosing electrified in Yukon, OK

The EV market is exploding thanks to auto manufacturers providing more and more options for environmentally friendly minded consumers — and Ford is no exception. Leading the way in alternative fuel, Ford has already engineered vehicles like the Escape Hybrid, Escape Plug-In Hybrid, Mustang Mach-E and even a hybrid engine option for the power-hungry F-150. Plus, more are coming in 2022 to the lineup: the F-150 Lightning, the first-ever all-electric pickup and the Maverick, the only standard full hybrid pickup in America. Soon, these “alternatives” will dominate the roads, but why are so many making the switch? Discover how driving an electrified Ford from Joe Cooper Ford of Yukon could benefit you!

Benefits of Choosing Electrified

ECO-FRIENDLY

The most obvious reason why driving an electrified vehicle — whether that’s a hybrid, plug-in hybrid or all-electric model — benefits you is that it will have exponentially less fuel emissions. Give the earth the breather it deserves with one of these highly efficient sedans, SUVs or pickups. You’ll reduce your carbon footprint with your model’s high mpg and MPGe estimates. For example, the 2021 Ford Escape Hybrid has an EPA-estimated 44 MPGe in the city,1 so your day-to-day driving just got a little more peaceful.

WALLET-PLEASER

… And less expensive. You’ll find that by switching to a greener vehicle, your gas budget will decrease. Those high mpg estimates translate into big savings when it comes to the pump (not to mention time saved with less stops). And if you choose the Ford Mustang Mach-E or another all-electric model, long-term maintenance costs will be reduced as well. All-electric vehicles operate without a standard engine, so services like oil changes, transmission fluid flushes, engine belt replacements and others that a gas-powered engine would need won’t be a problem (or cost) that you’ll have to deal with.

TAX INCENTIVES

The savings continue, and this time, they’re upfront. When you purchase or lease an electrified Ford, you could reduce your bottom line dramatically when you take advantage of available tax credits. In order to encourage consumers to purchase EVs and HEVs, the U.S. Department of Energy has incentivized qualifying purchases with tax rebates and credits, so you could see a nice tax return come tax season! Curious to learn which rebates your purchase qualifies for? Visit the Alternative Fuels Data Center page and select the great state of Oklahoma.

WARRANTY

The reasons keep coming, but we promise this is our last one (for now). The battery of your electrified Ford has an exceptional warranty, so those nerves about making the switch can be calmed. The Mustang Mach-E battery, for instance, is covered under warranty for eight years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first,2 which is better than most gas-powered vehicle warranties, which are generally good for only four years or 50,000 miles. With a generous warranty backed by Ford, you can take on the open road with confidence!

There are many reasons why you should consider an electrified vehicle when you’re ready to start shopping.
