Ford’s Co-Pilot360™ Standard and Available Features

null

BLIS® with Cross-Traffic Alert
The BLIS®, or Blind Spot Information System, is like an extra set of eyes to help you stay alert. It detects nearby vehicles in your blind spot and alerts you to their presence. Cross-Traffic Alert is similar, in that it alerts you to traffic behind you as you're backing out of a parking spot.

null

Lane-Keeping System
This smart feature scans the lines in the road to intuit your vehicle's position and ensure you stay in your lane. It will alert you if you begin to sway into another lane without signaling. And, if you've drifted several times, a coffee cup icon will pop up to suggest taking a break from driving to get your bearings.

null

Pre-Collision Assist with AEB
By scanning the road in front of you, the Pre-Collision Assist system detects potential collisions and alerts you to change course and/or brake. If you don't catch it in time, Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) will engage to assist you in corrective action.

null

Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control
Features like Speed Sign Recognition, Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control can help you drive more responsively by slowing down or stopping your vehicle in coordination with the speed limits and speed of vehicles in front of you.^

null

Evasive Steering Assist
While this feature doesn't wrestle control of the steering wheel away from you, it can provide steering support if the system detects a potential collision ahead that requires swift maneuvering to avoid.

null

Reverse Brake Assist
Similarly to Cross-Traffic Alert, Reverse Brake Assist can detect stationary and moving objects behind your Ford model while you're in reverse. It applies the brakes when needed. Even vehicles moving as fast as 37 mph can be detected!

null

Rearview Camera
This is a common feature now. Nearly all Ford models come standard with it. Your rearview camera display can be found on your center touchscreen, and works as an extra set of eyes while you're in reverse.

null

Active Park Assist 2.0
This is one feature that you'll absolutely fall in love with. When activated, Active Park Assist 2.0 helps locate potential parallel or reverse perpendicular parking spots and displays helpful prompts on your center touchscreen. It will then take control of the steering for easy, stress-free parking. You'll still have control over the acceleration, shifting and braking.

null

Auto High-Beam Headlamps
When travelling in low-light conditions or at night, Auto High-Beam Headlamps are there to automatically activate when poor lighting is detected. It'll switch between low and high beams when it detects oncoming traffic.

null

BLIS® with Trailer Coverage
Best paired with the capability of a Ford truck or SUV, BLIS® with Trailer Coverage detects and alerts you to vehicles in your blind spot, as well as your trailer's blind spot.

null

Pro Trailer Backup Assist™
This handy feature is perfect for drivers hauling heavy loads. When you're pulling a trailer and need to reverse, simply rotate the Pro Trailer Backup Assist™ knob as you back up and the feature will guide you and the trailer in the direction you're trying to steer.

null

Hill Descent Control™
Another high-tech feature that's perfect for trucks and SUVs, Hill Descent Control™ can equip you with confidence when you're driving down a steep hill or incline by maintaining your speed and automatically applying the brakes as needed for a smoother descent.

There’s Even More

But that's not all! Ford has several other safety features you can add to your Ford truck, sedan or SUV. If you're looking for another layer of proactive safety features for your vehicle, you can add one of these features to the configuration:

  • Trailer Sway Control
  • 360-Degree Camera
  • Rain-Sensing Wipers
  • Curve Control
